Our Grand Opening!

After an eight-month-long transition to our new facility, we are excited to re-open the Statesville Historical Collection to the public and invite all to explore the rich history of Statesville and Iredell County, NC.

The official Grand Opening Celebration was held on January 12th, 2025 in the beautifully restored historic Holland Building, 117 South Center Street. 

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony conducted by the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce marked the continuation of our journey to preserve and share the unique stories, artifacts, and memories that make our community so special.

Steve Bell and Danny Wicker set the tone for the afternoon with a special acoustic musical performance that was enjoyed by all.

As the SHC volunteers settle in, we are excited to celebrate the heritage and legacy of our great community. Please join us in this new chapter!
