What is Preservation Statesville?


Preservation Statesville is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to safeguarding and celebrating the rich history of Statesville, North Carolina. As the governing body for the Statesville Historical Collection, we work to preserve and share the area's cultural heritage through education, outreach, and preservation initiatives. Our mission is to protect the stories, artifacts, and landmarks that define our community, ensuring that future generations can learn from and be inspired by the past. Through partnerships, fundraising, and community engagement, Preservation Statesville is a vital force in preserving our shared legacy for years to come.

Who is Preservation Statesville?


Preservation Statesville is made up of a dedicated team of passionate individuals who share a deep commitment to historical preservation and community enrichment. The organization is led by a governing board of directors comprising local historians, community leaders, and preservation advocates. Volunteers, members, and donors also play an essential role in supporting its mission. Together, these individuals work collaboratively to oversee the Statesville Historical Collection, develop educational programs, engage the community, and secure resources to protect and promote the rich heritage of Statesville, North Carolina.
